Because of so many visitors last season, we got some "trouble" with the locals of the village Ausserferrera. Too many people were parking somewhere beneath the street and were camping on different places, knowing that it is forbidden in Switzerland. It seemed,  that the Magic Wood would be closed for bouldering.
After some discussions with the locals, we found a "solution". The village of Ausserferrera built a camping area (with fireplace and toilets) and established a big camping area, just before the Boulder area. Now it's our sense to use these places.
No parking beneath the streets!!! All cars must be parked in front of the camping area. Camping is only allowed in the camping area. Please use the toilets, before u go bouldering... to keep the wood clean. (if possible;-) More infos at the campsite(infobulletin)
Keep in mind, that is only a test. The locals of Ausserferrera will vote in the fall, if they tolerate the Boulder area also in future.
If everybody pay respect to these "rules" and we get no trouble this summer, we have a good chance, that this great place will not be closed in future. Thanks. Respect                                                 Bernd Zangerl
